Call For Abstract Submission for Special Sessions on
                         Data Mining and Applications

         at CORS/INFORMS Joint International Meeting (Banff'04)
                Banff Center, Alberta, Canada, 16-19 May 2004

Dear colleagues,

The Canadian Operational Research Society (CORS) and INFORMS will hold
a joint international meeting next Spring in the scenic location of
Banff in the Canadian Rockies.
This meeting will take place from May 16 to May 19, 2004.
Further information on the meeting is available through its web page,

I would like to invite you to submit one or more data mining abstracts in
the following topics:

Data mining and applications:
This section is focused on data mining applications, such as
sensor-log data mining, network-log data mining, web log mining,
real applications of web mining including data mining algorithms in DSS
and other intelligent applications in ITS.
Practical experiences and theories will be presented and discussed.

By the end of January, please send your abstract and your address to
