AA/ATAL/IFMAS Co-Sponsored China Agent Systems School Call for Participants December 13-17, 2004 Chongqing, China China Agent Systems School is co-sponsored by AA/ATAL/IFMAS, and it is the first time such a school held in China. It will provide you with a tightly- packed introductory, advanced and industrial application course to agents and multi-agent systems. It is an excellent opportunity for young researchers especially post-graduate students to listen to the lectures of well-known experts in agent field. In this agent school, we have proudly invited 6 very famous guest lecturers around the world. The agent school will have 5 day lectures. Each of them will give a one day or half day detailed lecture which covers differnt topics in agent fields. They are (in alphabetic order): Professor Ed Durfee (Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Michigan, USA) Professor Toru Ishida (Laboratory for Global Information Network, Kyoto University, Japan) Dr David Kinny (CTO, Agentis Software, USA) Professor Jiming Liu (Head of Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong, China) Professor Hideyuki Nakashima (President of Future University, Japan) Professor Zhongzhi Shi (Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China) Registation fee: Full time student: Early bird (before 29 October 2004): US$120 Late (before 26 November 2004): US$160 On-site (after 26 November): US$200 Others: Early bird (before 29 October 2004): US$200 Late (before 26 November 2004): US$240 On-site (after 26 November): US$280 The registration fee includes 5 day lectures, printed and bound lecture notes, morning and afternoon teas, and light lunches!
