With current trend for mash-up applications and bringing together content from different sources, the need for robust extraction methods is increasing. The goal of this workshop is to bring researchers and practitioners together to explore the issues and challenges related to information extraction from the Web. We plan to address not only the current state of the art but also discuss the future.
