Organized in conjunction with the 10th. Asia Pacific Web Conference (APweb 2008), the purpose of INGS 08 is to provide a forum for discussion and interaction among researchers with interests in the cutting edge issues of next generation search.
Information created by people has increased rapidly since the year 2000, and now we are in a time which we could call the "information-explosion era."
This workshop aims to establish novel technologies for next generation search: efficient and trustable information retrieval from explosively growing and heterogeneous information resources in this information-explosion era.
