[dbjapan] DASFAA 2010 - Call fo Workshops

来年4月筑波で開催されるDASFAA2010のCall for workshopsです。
よろしくお願いいたします。

Call for Workshops:

Database Systems for Advanced Applications (DASFAA) is an international forum for academic exchanges and technical discussions among researchers, developers, and users of databases from academia, business, and industry, and has been a leading conference in the areas of databases, large-scale data management, data mining, and the Web. The 15th DASFAA will come to Tsukuba, Japan in April, 2010.

DASFAA 2010 plans to feature a number of co-located workshops. Proposals for workshops are invited. Workshops will be held at the same location as the main conference. All workshops will benefit from the registration process of DASFAA 2010. Workshop duration is half day or full day during the conference. Proceedings are planned to be published as a volume of Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) from Springer after the workshops.

Each Workshop proposal should include the following information:
- workshop title and acronym
- short description of the topic of the workshop
- names and contact information of workshop organizer(s)
- expected number of participants
- proposed duration of the workshop (half or full day)
- preferred workshop dates
- potential Program Committee

The decision about acceptance/rejection of workshop proposals will be made by the Workshops Chairs. The organizers of successful workshops will be responsible for their own reviewing process, publicity, and preparation for proceedings.

August 18, 2009	 	Submission of workshop proposals
September 22, 2009	 	Notification of workshop proposals
April 1-4, 2010	 	Conference in Tsukuba, Japan
